I discovered Radiohead through Spotify's "Discover Weekly" but my uncle actually had a collection of their vinyl records. The first album I heard was The Bends, which he owned. Born just 13 days after In Rainbows was released (October 23, 2007), this album feels like my spiritual twin. I own it on CD and it remains my favorite album of all time.
What resonates with me about Radiohead is their fearless experimentation and emotional depth. Each album feels like a distinct world, yet all are unmistakably Radiohead. Their music captures the anxiety and beauty of modern existence in a way no other band does.
